==== Mental Calculation ====

You can open the header calculation via the //Calculation //area in the toolbar. Price, VAT and margin can be viewed here.

On the **Headers** page, you also enter discounts or markups. You can determine whether a mark-up or a discount should be set using the round button directly in the input field of the lines for surcharges or discounts. With one click, it changes its appearance and function.

   * As a plus icon, it awards a premium.
  * A discount is set as a minus icon.

All values written in blue are editable, as are all labels written in blue. All information you provide in these areas will only be used for the current project.

Note: If you confirm your entries with Enter, you will automatically jump to the next input field.

==== Article costing ====

You can open the article calculation by selecting an article and clicking //Article calculation//  at the bottom of the OSC Pro. There, changes to the article quantity, the price and the determination of percentage discounts/surcharges (see //header calculation//) are possible.

==== Specify Ecotax (for the French market): ====

You can change the Ecotax at item level. In the article view, switch to the Properties tab and enter your information on the net weight and the Ecotax in the input fields on the right-hand side. For this, it is not necessary to convert your items into manual items.
